Fundraising
The PTO helps our school purchase technology, programs, and materials that are not in their budget. These purchases include, but are not limited to teacher grants, teacher and staff appreciation gifts/events, family fun events, school improvements, classroom materials, etc.
Teachers, families and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:
- Joining the PTO and making a Membership donation each year
- Donating online during our Fall Fundraiser (A Day at the Races)
- Eating out on Marvin Family Dinner Nights
- Buying Spiritwear
- Shopping at Harris Teeter
- Buying Yearbooks
- Asking employers for Corporate Matches

Link your Harris Teeter VIC card to school I.D. # 4939. Your VIC card needs to be re-linked each school year. Next time you are at Harris Teeter just ask the cashier to link your card at check out. Harris Teeter will donate a percentage of your grocery bill to Marvin Elementary. You can also re-link your card here.
Link your Club Publix account. To support your school, join Club Publix. If you’re already a member, log in to your account and select My Publix Partner to search for the school of your choice. Remember to enter your phone number at checkout or pay with the Publix app each time you make an eligible purchase. Please note that you must take this action for your selected school to receive Publix Partners earnings for your eligible purchases.
